Paymaster Services for Medical Supplies & PPE
Contracts for masks, gloves, gowns, test kits and medical equipment often involve overseas manufacturers, distributors and several brokers. We hold the purchase price in trust and release it when the agreed shipping and inspection conditions are met.
Protecting buyers and sellers
Buyers want to know the goods exist and meet specifications before paying. Manufacturers want to know the money is real before they ship. With funds held by a neutral attorney, payment can be tied to events such as an inspection report, a bill of lading or delivery confirmation.
Protecting broker commissions
Brokers who introduce a buyer to a manufacturer can be cut out once the parties meet. A signed commission agreement, paid through our trust account, makes sure each broker receives the agreed share when the deal closes.
Lessons from the pandemic
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many PPE buyers lost money to sellers who never delivered. Holding funds in trust until delivery is verified is one of the simplest ways to avoid that outcome. We also require identification from every party before funds are accepted.
Fees

Documents to prepare
- Contract: a copy of the contract, agreement or written instructions for how the money is to be paid out.
- Paymaster fee agreement: we send this to you after our first conversation.
- Identification: a driver's license or passport for each individual involved.
- Company records: for each business, its formation documents and the names of its owners and authorized signers.
- Tax forms: IRS Form W-9 for U.S. citizens, residents and companies; IRS Form W-8BEN (or W-8BEN-E for entities) for everyone else.
- Bank details for every beneficiary, in the beneficiary's own legal name.
We receive and send funds by bank wire only. We do not accept cash, checks or money orders.
